Thane trusts and the 2025 amendment
Since 1 September 2025, Section 30A distinguishes tenure and perpetual trustees. Unless the deed provides for them, perpetual trustees cannot exceed one-fourth of the board. Many older temple and mandal trusts in Thane need to check their boards against this before the next change report. See the 2025 amendment.
